Massimo Castagna

Born in Italy, Massimo Castagna graduated from the Politecnico di Milano and began his professional career in 1986, founding the studio AD Architettura. His work spans architecture, interior, and product design, following an integrated and coherent design approach.

Over the years, his contribution has significantly influenced contemporary design, striking a masterful balance between form, material, and craftsmanship. His creative research celebrates the culture of making and the authentic essence of Made in Italy.

The studio operates internationally, engaging in product design for some of the most renowned Italian brands, as well as in interior and residential architecture.
Castagna’s projects have been recognized and exhibited by prestigious institutions such as the Saatchi Gallery in London, the MoMA in New York, and the Triennale di Milano. Since 2000, he has served as Creative Director for several leading names in Italian design.

In 2024, his collaboration with Falper was established, founded on a shared vision of material elegance, meticulous attention to detail, and project authenticity
