Dream Kitchens – Roma Edition

It’s time to rethink our relationship with available space. The Falper evolution is realised through the Living Kitchens™ concept, which experiments with small-scale kitchens, revolutionising the way we experience the kitchen within highly desirable prestigious homes despite their reduced dimensions. Like a residence for discerning tourists or an artist’s dwelling in the centre of Rome.

Falper’s pioneering attitude extends its refined design to a new room in the home: the kitchen. “Living Kitchens™ is a unique, innovative system, designed to resolve the kitchen within prestigious but small apartments. A solution not previously available on the market. We have managed to integrate the concept we had clearly in mind with the constraints of the kitchen, all with the aesthetics, rigour and quality typical of Falper,” explains Luca Fallavena, CEO of Falper, who is the architect of the project with designer Andrea Federici.

Transversal elegance in a historic building in the most enchanting private courtyard of the artists’ street, Via Margutta. Silence and peace at the bottom of the court. A spiral staircase climbs to the terrace that overlooks the eternal city. The small dwelling has an antique wooden floor, with large windows overlooking a majestic tree. The kitchen, consisting of a few elements with Island and Sideboard, has been designed to create a solution starting from just 2.5 square metres. The Island is equipped with hob and sink whilst the Sideboard is a unique element, customisable internally, compatible with built-in appliances.

The residence, renovated between Roman style and contemporary design, is ideal for the cosmopolitan traveller. The kitchen Island has been chosen in Carrara marble, selected from the most precious in the quarry. The form of a monolith within which the kitchen comes to life becomes a sculptural object of timeless beauty. The choice of classic marble suits the historic centre of Rome splendidly. While responding to the natural needs of continuous modernisation, the apartment preserves some characteristics with an “antique” touch, leaving the refined atmosphere of the place unchanged.
