ECCENTRICO and MONSIEUR were both awarded at the Archiproducts Design Awards 2018 for their experimental research, innovation, and the emotional and functional strength that characterize each project.

An international, highly qualified jury, composed of some of the most interesting international architecture firms of the moment, designers, journalists, architectural photographers and design curators, selected the projects capable of distinguishing themselves for their relationship with production and for fully reflecting the “Culture of Design”, in a creative process in which vision and innovative realization are born from the collaboration between leading brands and designers.

ECCENTRICO, the award-winning freestanding washbasin, is a rational composition that enhances the geometry of the circle, turning it into a totemic form that harmoniously blends Carrara marble, wood, metal, and Cristalplant®. Designed by Victor Vasilev, it expresses sophisticated originality through refined textures and materials, resulting in a piece of great presence.

MONSIEUR, the wall-mounted washbasin also recognized at the event, brings together elegant and tactile materials in a design of refined simplicity, expressed through soft curves and meticulous detailing.
The project, by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, stems from a study focused on lightness and essentiality.
