Living Kitchens | New features: Snack – Table – Wall Island
Living Kitchens™ are like a complex game with very simple elements, where work and living areas are constructed. Elected best Kitchen project with the EDIDA 2023 award, Living Kitchens™ have been designed for clients with extremely refined taste who live in small but high-standard spaces.
New functional and essential elements have been added to the kitchens, including tables and snack counters made from composite wood. The tables seem to emerge from the sides of the Islands like natural appendages, available in wood in the various finishes included in the Falper catalogue. These lateral work surfaces can be designed in variable widths from 60 cm to 180 cm, with a depth of 60 cm.
The snack counters are different—visually lighter and more airy—appearing to be suspended in space thanks to a stainless steel bracket system concealed within their thickness. The snack counters can be made in wood in the various Falper finishes, available in the three widths of the kitchen Islands—60 cm, 120 cm, 180 cm—with a smaller depth of 40 cm.
The new system designed by Andrea Federici presents specific functionalities that allow all Islands in the Falper kitchen system to be positioned against the wall. Made with a junction element, solid walnut elements and 4 mm thick stainless steel splash guards, the system allows Living Kitchens™ to be adapted to the wall with great versatility. The steel module for wall positioning can be ordered for all three kitchen Island models, in all sizes.
