ECCENTRICO and MONSIEUR were awarded at the Archiproducts Design Awards 2018 for experimental research, innovation, and the emotional and functional impact that characterize both projects.

A highly qualified international jury, composed of some of the most interesting international architecture firms of the moment, designers, journalists, architectural photographers, and design curators, selected the projects for their ability to stand out through their relationship with production and for fully reflecting the ‘Project Culture,’ in a creative process where vision and innovative realization arise from the collaboration between leading brands and designers.

ECCENTRICO, the freestanding sink awarded at the 2018 ADA Awards, is a rational design that emphasizes the geometry of the circle by interpreting it as a totemic element and creates a simple and refined dialogue among the different materials of Carrara marble, wood, metal, and Cristalplant®. In the project, designed by Victor Vasilev, textures and tactile suggestions become a representation of sophisticated originality, resulting in a freestanding sink with strong character.

MONSIEUR, the wall-mounted sink awarded during the contest, is a meeting of structured and elegant materials, for a design of refined sophistication expressed through soft curves and delicate details. The project, designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, is the result of a study focused on simplicity and lightness.
