“LOVE” – Installation by Pietro Terzini

Artistic design installations have become the beating heart of Fuorisalone 2024, bringing together creativity and social messages. Falper chose to bring its Store at Via Pontaccio 10 to life with a unique project entitled “LOVE”. This work is signed by Pietro Terzini, the artist known for his ironic quotes and wordplay that have taken social media by storm. Through a series of window decals, Terzini transformed the showroom façade into a great love letter dedicated to the city of Milan. The installation invites passers-by to stop and reflect on the deeper meaning of affection and human connection in a digital world.

Choosing to host artistic design installations allows Falper to explore new forms of communication. Terzini’s work uses the store’s architectural space as a blank canvas. The text reading “LOVE”, for instance, becomes a graphic element that enters into dialogue with the washbasins and luxury furniture visible inside. The artist also plays with the aesthetics of fashion and luxury brands, reinterpreting them through a pop and democratic lens. As a result, the audience is drawn into an immediate visual experience with a strong emotional impact. This is an approach that enhances authored design through fresh, contemporary communication.

Here’s the artist’s description of the work:

“In conceiving the “LOVE” installation for Falper, I was inspired by my first encounter in their showroom, where the environment enveloped me with its essence and uniqueness. For me, Falper embodies the fundamental values of excellence, innovation, and passion for design. With this urban work, I wanted to convey an invitation to reflect on the importance of love for art, design, and creativity, using the brand’s core values as inspiration.”

A warm thank you to our customers, architects, developers, and friends who contributed to Falper’s resounding success during Milan Design Week at the Milan Store on Via Pontaccio. With over 5,000 visitors, we experienced an extraordinary time.
