Living Kitchens™ wins the best cuisine of the year award

The 27 editions of Elle Decor’s international network have rewarded Falper’s Living Kitchens™ kitchen concept, born from the careful study of contemporary living in small spaces, without sacrificing quality and style.

The 2023 Edida award was presented to designer Andrea Federici, accompanied by Luca Fallavena CEO Falper, in the exclusive ceremony that was held at the Fontana room of the Museo del ‘900 in Piazza Duomo, during Milan Design Week. Living Kitchens™ is a system studied by Falper with the ambition of addressing a unique market niche, those who live in small precious volumes, potential customers with economic availability in the luxury segment, who are looking for sophisticated objects representative of their status.

The characterizing element is the mini Islands available in three standard sizes of 120/150/180 cm, which can be entirely conceived in different marble finishes, with walnut or stainless steel drawers. Combined with sideboards, which house appliances and storage compartments, the kitchens are enriched this year with tables that rise from the sides of the Islands like natural appendages and snack tops that seem suspended in the void, like large wings, thanks to a system of stainless steel brackets, hidden within their thickness. Among the new features in via Pontaccio 10, l ‘Isola cucina is also presented in the wall solution.

The award given to the Living Kitchens™ comes as confirmation of the victory of a challenge that began in 2018. The appreciation received from professionals and the international press demonstrates the uniqueness of the concept developed by Falper, capable of rethinking the kitchen as a Status Symbol of small but highly prestigious homes. The Living Kitchens™, born as an experiment to give dignity to small kitchens thanks to unique sizes enriched with accessories, finishes and precious materials, are conceived both for the new way of inhabiting high-density urban centers and for the exclusive resorts of holiday destinations.
