About_blank is a design studio born in 2012 near Milan, from the partnership between Federico Elli, Marco Febbo, Andrea Fiorito and Stefano Filipuzzi and a harmony born between the School of Design desks at the Politecnico of Milan. Once graduated from the Industrial Design undergraduate course in 2009, their paths split up to Communication and Industrial Product Engineering. Three years after, the passion for design together with the experience matured in different fields, suggest the awareness of having the chance to build up a mutual project. During the last two months of 2012, the studio got the second prize in the professional category of the “Sharp Design Contest” with the mobile illumination system “Lucio”. A few months after arrived the first prize for the outdoor section in the “Cristalplant Design Contest 2013”. The designers have also collaborated with POLI.Design, Design Innovation, Braking Sunstar, Indesit Company, Bianchi Vending Group, P.E.T. Engineering, NuZoo Robotics, Almax Italy, Tucano Urbano, Leone 1947, Sacea, Ruffino. Thanks to the collaboration with Falper , the project “Longue Shower” was developed.
